Supreme Industries has informed the exchanges that Bajranglal Taparia, promoter director of the company, had gifted 50,000 equity shares to his great grandson Master Akshay Vivekkumar Taparia. These shares were transferred via an off-market transaction. Further, Akshay Vivekkumar Taparia is now added to the promoters group of the company. Hence, his name will be disclosed in filings to be made pertaining to shareholding pattern and other relevant disclosures, the company said. Shares of Supreme Industries closed at ₹917.8, down 1.11 per cent over the previous day’s close on the BSE.

Insilco’s plant will remain shut from June 2 to June 19 due to high inventory and low sales volume. The company will also carry out routine preventive maintenance and cleaning during this time, it said in a notification to the BSE. Insilco, a group company of Evonik Industries, Germany, is one of the leading producers of precipitated silica in South Asia and has a plant in Gajraula, Uttar Pradesh. Shares of Insilco slipped 0.9 per cent at ₹21.75 on the BSE.

Jenson & Nicholson (India) has informed the exchanges that a trademark assignment agreement has been executed on June 1. The pact was made between Jenson & Nicholson (India) (assignor), Jenson & Nicholson Paints Private Ltd (assignee) and Vivid Colors Private Ltd (secured lender/pledgee of such trademarks) to assign its trademarks for an agreed consideration of ₹6 crore. Shares of Jenson & Nicholson (India) closed flat at ₹7.3 on the NSE.
