Mahanagar Gas , in association with Eco Fuel, the Indian partner of Italy’s Lovato, has launched in Mumbai compressed natural gas kits for two-wheelers, which offer safe and economical fuel. In an exchange filing, the company said that a CNG kit comprises two cylinders of 1.2 kg each, which can run up to 120-130 km per kg at around 60 paise/km for a single fill. Initially, scooters will be retrofitted with CNG kits manufactured by Lovato, which has received approval from ARAI, Pune, for 18 scooter models. Shares of the company were up 2 per cent at ₹803.95 on the NSE.

Bombay Dyeing and Manufacturing Co will sell land and building worth ₹184 crore in Pune and Mumbai, the company said in an exchange filing. The company has entered into an agreement to sell land and building in Pune for ₹174 crore, and a company-owned flat in Mumbai for ₹94 lakh. Shares of the company were up 3 per cent at ₹48.75 on the NSE.

The executive committee of the Board of Directors of Balrampur Chini Mills on Monday approved January 13 as record date for the buyback of shares. The board will determine the entitlement of equity shareholders; and the shareholders who would be eligible to participate in the buyback. The board has approved to buy back one crore shares at ₹175 each through tender route. Shares of Balrampur Chini gained 4.4 per cent at ₹130.25 on the NSE.
