Radico Khaitan has informed the exchanges that the name of one of its promoters has been changed from Shailaja Finance to Sapphire Intrex. Shailaja Finance, one of the 10 promoter group entities, holds 34.11 per cent stake in the liquor major. Total promoter holding in Radico Khaitan stands at 40.46 per cent. Shares of Radico Khaitan gained 3.14 per cent at ₹177.20 on the NSE.
Man Industries (India) , a leading large-diameter API grade pipe manufacturing company, has received an order for $142.44 million (approximately ₹925 crore) from GAIL (India) for supply of about 1,16,000 tonnes of line pipes for its Jagdishpur-Haldia-Bokaro-Dhamra Pipeline Project (JHBDPL), Phase II. With this, the outstanding order book as on date stands at approximately ₹2,700 crore to be executed within a period of nine to 12 months, the company’s statement to the exchanges added. Shares of Man Industries closed at ₹109.55, up 20 per cent.
Madhav Marbles and Granites on Thursday informed the exchanges that workers at its granite and stone division in Salem, Tamil Nadu, went on strike on October 10. The concerned labour department and police officials had already been informed about the strike, the company said, and added that it will intimate the date of resumption of work once the strike is over. The stock moved up 2.7 per cent at ₹68.95 on the NSE.
