The mood in Calcutta Stock Exchange (CSE) reversed during the week after investors started taking fresh long position.
The CSE-40 was up 172.37 points during the week. The local bourse was down 262 points during the previous week.
The index opened at 6199.51 and in all sessions the local bourse gained ground to close at 6371.88.
Trading volume stayed normal during the week. ACC was at Rs 1265.90 at close. Blueprint Securities was at Rs 309.40.
IT major Infosys Technologies was higher at Rs 2970 at end of the week. State Bank of India was up at Rs 2205.80 to finish the week and Tata Steel ended lower at Rs 360.
Larsen & Toubro was up at Rs 1452 to end the week. Twenty First century was at Rs 327.40.
