Shares of Goa Carbon surged to 8-1/2-year high as the company has posted a jump in quarterly profit.
Goa Carbon stock gained as much as 16.5 per cent to its highest in over eight-and-a-half years.
The stock posted biggest intraday percentate gain since October 6, 2016.
Goa Carbon March quarter profit jumped over 12-fold to Rs 5.08 crore ($785,708.76).
The company board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 3 per share.
