Goa Carbon on Monday informed the exchanges that its plant located at St. Jose de Areal, Salcete, Goa, has been temporarily shut down for maintenance work from February 3.
“There would not be any material financial impact due to the temporary shutdown of the company’s Goa unit as there is sufficient inventory to service the orders in hand,” the company further said in the notice. Shares of Goa Carbon slumped 5 per cent at ₹828.50 on the NSE.
