IL&FS Transportation Networks has received a provisional completion certificate for its joint venture’s four-laning project of the Jorabat-Shillong Barapani section of National Highway-40 in Assam and Meghalaya, the company said in an exchange filing today. The project is on the designing, building, financing, operating and transfer basis and has been awarded by the National Highways Authority of India to the company’s joint venture with Ramky Infrastructure-Jorabat Shillong Expressway. The project was awarded under the special accelerated road development programme. The Jorabat Shillong Expressway will receive ₹72.51 crore as semi-annual annuity for 17 years as a part of this project, the company said. Shares of IL&FS Transportation gained 0.82 per cent at ₹79.80 on the BSE.
