Jubilant Life Sciences on Thursday announced an increase of up to 15 per cent in the price of its Vitamin B3 (Niacin and Niacinamide) with immediate effect. The price increase is for non-contract customers and wherever existing contracts permit, the company said in a BSE filing. The latest hike is further to the price increase of up to 15 per cent announced in December 2016, it added. Jubilant is the second-largest producer of Vitamin B3 globally. The Vitamin B3 business is part of the company’s Life Science Ingredients (LSI) segment. Shares of Jubilant Life closed about 2 per cent down at ₹709.90 on the NSE.
