La Opala RG has informed the exchanges that its board on Monday considered and approved a bonus issue in the ratio of one bonus share for every one share held in the company.
Currently, promoters hold 65.02 per cent stake in the company. Among the public shareholders, UTI MidCap Fund holds 1.26 per cent stake, Malabar India Fund (4.52 per cent stake), Steadview Capital (3.59 per cent), Matthews India (2.67 per cent) and Jwalamukhi Investment Holdings, an investment arm of private equity firm Westbridge Capital (2.56 per cent).
Around 8,660 retail investors hold 4.36 per cent in the houseware firm. Shares of La Opala closed at ₹627.75, up 3.6 per cent, on the NSE.
