Mawana Sugars has informed the exchanges that its board of directors has agreed to enter into a one-time settlement with State Bank of India (SBI) in respect of borrowings from State Bank of Hyderabad. The company is settling the debt (due to State Bank of Hyderabad) with SBI (the merged entity) for a consolidated agreed amount of ₹43.21 crore. Mawana Sugars shares closed with a gain of 1.2 per cent at ₹79.20 on the BSE.
