Shalby Hospitals (Shalby Ltd) has launched a radiotherapy centre at its recently-commissioned Naroda Shalby Hospital for treatment of cancer patients. Naroda Shalby, 267-bed capacity and the fourth multi-speciality hospital of the group in Ahmedabad, has commissioned its radiotherapy centre equipped with Varian Trilogy Radiotherapy machine with FFF technology. This latest model of Linear Accelerator with Flattening Filter Free beam technology provides flexibility to clinicians to deliver conventional therapies to treat a wide range of tumours throughout the body. It also enables treatment of highly complex cancer types that require extreme targeting precision. The stock of Shalby closed 0.87 per cent lower at ₹233.20 on the NSE.
