Kerala-based Dhanlaxmi Bank reported a lower net loss of ₹8.18 crore in the third quarter ended December 31, 2016 as against a net loss of ₹55.59 crore in the year-ago period.
In the preceding quarter, the old generation private sector bank had reported a net profit of ₹6.02 crore. In the reporting quarter, net interest income increased 12 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y) to ₹77 crore. Other income jumped 48 per cent y-o-y to ₹23 crore.
Gross non-performing assets rose to ₹504 crore as of December-end 2016 from ₹481 crore in the preceding quarter.
