The Legislative Assembly of the newly created Andhra Pradesh post the division of the State into Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will be convened on June 19.

The brief five-day session will see the elected members first getting adminstered the oath and then followed by the election of the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker.

AP Governor ESL Narasimhan is expected to address the joint session on June 21, outlining the new Government’s agenda and line of thought, followed by debate for two days and then motion of thanks.
