Acting Vice-Chancellor of BITS Pilani, VS Rao, will join NIIT University (NU) as the next President, in July,Rajendra S Pawar, Chairman of NIIT and Founder of NU, said in a statement issued on Friday. Rao said: “NIIT University’s four core principles that make learning industry-linked, technology-based, research driven and seamless, provide a solid foundation for building the university of the future.” Rao is member of the CII State Council, FICCI Higher Education Committee, and Telangana Academy of Skills & Knowledge (TASK), among others.
