StayWell Holdings, a leading hotel management company in Asia-Pacific, is expanding its footprint in India by opening 10 more Leisure Inn brands in the next 2-3 years.
Currently, the group has 14 properties of which seven are functioning, said Rohit Vig, Managing Director, StayWell Hospitality Group in India.
Vig was here for the opening of the group’s second southern India property – Leisure Inn VKL Kochi.
Richard Doyle, Group Counsel, StayWell Holdings, said the group was looking to widening its reach in India, catering to tourists and business travellers.
The group plans to open 250 hotels across the globe in the next 10 years from the present 118, he said. Kochi offers a good opportunity for building international tourism connect with the operations of 120 flights a week from the Cochin International Airport, said Varghese Kurian, owner of Leisure Inn VKL Kochi.
