Railways will operate a special train between Lokmanya Tilak Terminal and Tirunelveli on Konkan route from May 2.
A press statement by the Palakkad division of Southern Railway said here that train no. 01067 Lokmanya Tilak Terminal- Tirunelveli special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminal at 2.20 p.m. on Fridays from May 2 to June 6, and reach Tirunelveli at 2.25 a.m. on Sundays.
In the return direction, train no. 01068 Tirunelveli-Lokmanya Tilak Terminal special will leave Tirunelveli at 7.55 a.m. on Sundays from May 4 to June 8, and will reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminal at 7.30 p.m. on Mondays.
This special train will have one AC 2-tier, two AC 3-tiers, 10 sleeper class, three general second class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
The train will stop at Thane, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Karwar, Murdeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Kundapur, Udupi, Mangalore Junction, Kasaragod, Khanangad, Payyanur, Kannur, Thalassery, Vadakara, Kozhikode, Tirur, Kuttipuram, Shoranur, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chenganur, Kayankulam, Kollam, Thiruvananthapuram, Neyyattinkara, Kulitturai, Eraniel, Nagercoil town and Valliyur.
