Tata STRIVE, an initiative of Tata Community Initiatives Trust, launched its first Skill Development Centre (TSSDC) centre here on Monday.
The centre will equip the youth in the State with skills in BPO, banking, financial services, insurance and retail industries to make them employable.
The 17,000-sq ft facility in Kukatpally was inaugurated by Telangana IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao.
The centre can seat 240 students and offers courses that span six weeks to 16 weeks, Anita Rajan, Chief Operating Officer of Tata STRIVE, said.
