President Pranab Mukherjee will inaugurate the 37th Indian Social Science Congress at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) on Friday.
He will undertake a two-day visit to Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra on December 27 and 28, a release from the President’s office said here on Thursday,
On Friday, the President will also inaugurate the 66th annual session of the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, CHEMCON 2013, at the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai.
He will also open the 10th World Zoroastrian Congress at National Sports Club of India, Worli, Mumbai on the same day.
On Saturday, Pranab will unveil the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Thane.
Later, he will inaugurate the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the Tribal Research & Training Institute at Pune and unveil the statue of Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj at All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society, Pune.
The President will return to Rashtrapati Nilayam, Secunderabad on December 28, the release added.
