Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology (RSET), Kakkanad and HMT Machine Tools Ltd, Kalamassery have signed a MoU to promote training and research collaboration.
The objective is to impart practical knowledge on computer numerically controlled (CNC) technology and provide industrial training to students. Discussions were also carried out to explore possible areas of joint research.
The MoU will help students to have basic computer programming skills and manufacturing experience and create employable talent pool as envisaged in the ‘Make-in-India’ policy.
Jose Alex CMI, Director, RSET, and C M Bidar, General Manager& Unit Head, HMT Machine Tools, Kalamassery signed the MoU.
