Auto fuel prices continued the downward movement on Friday. IndianOil cut the price of petrol by 6 paisa a litre and diesel by 5 paisa a litre in the national capital.
After the revision, the petrol was sold at ₹78.29 a litre while diesel retailed at ₹69.20 a litre in Delhi.
Consumers were left fuming on Wednesday after Indian Oil had cut petrol and diesel prices by a measly one paisa each. The price of petrol was lowered by 7 paisa while the price of diesel was cut by 5 paisa on Thursday.
Petrol prices had increased by ₹3.8 a litre and diesel by ₹3.38 over the past fortnight. These reductions come after 16 consecutive price increases since May 14.
