Indigo Consulting, Publicis Communications’ highly specialised digital agency, has announced the appointment of Prashant Tekwani as Vice-President – Client Services. Tekwani will report to Rajesh Ghatge, Chief Executive Officer at Indigo Consulting, and will be based in the agency’s Gurugram office. His appointment comes close on the heels of Indigo Consulting hiring Jose Leon as President.
Welcoming Prashant on board, Rajesh Ghatge said, “Prashant’s appointment supports the infusion of new talent across key levels at Indigo Consulting, across all the offices. His strategic approach towards business development, coupled with his drive and passion to lead digital communication and large scale social retainers, makes us confident that we have the right person for the job. We are eager to have him on board to drive growth for IndigoConsulting, and become digital partners to key brands in the north and east markets.”
Tekwani’s decade-long experience does not just straddle advertising, but has also seen him fulfill entrepreneurship and marketing roles. He has worked as an Associate Vice-President at iContract where he headed some of India’s biggest digital businesses – Google India, YouTube and HSBC, among several others. His stints with entrepreneurship came in the form of startups such as Ctrl Alt Del and Khelo Sports, which he helped found. His other stints include the time he spent at Monk Media Network, United Realty & Construction and Vio Global, among others.
Speaking about his new mandate, Prashant said, “Indigo Consulting is one of the fastest-growing digital agencies, providing world-class digital transformation and communications solutions to some of the leading brands in India. Just this stellar pedigree was a big enough reason for me to take up the role I was offered. Indigo’s inherent data-led, strategic approach to brands, and the passionate, dynamic team made me certain that it is just beginning to reach its massive potential, despite the vast body of work already behind it.”
He has worked on a multitude of major brands such as Shoppers Stop, UTI Mutual Funds, HotStar, Truly Madly and Star Sports, among several others.
