Braun is launching the Braun IRT 3020 ThermoScan compact ear thermometer. It measures the infrared heat generated by the eardrum and surrounding tissues and claims to deliver “professional accuracy” in one second. It comes with a protective cap, 3V lithium batteries and 11 disposable lens filters. A memory function recalls the last temperature reading. Priced Rs 2,500, it comes with a two-year warranty. Both are available at major pharmacies and baby stores in India.
