3M India has reported a 3.12 per cent fall in net profit to Rs 21.09 crore on a standalone basis for the fourth quarter of 2012-13, as compared to Rs 21.77 crore in the previous year period. The total income from operations was higher by 1.93 per cent to Rs 409.07 crore (Rs 401.30 crore).
Segment-wise, industrial and transportation business earned Rs 199.19 crore (Rs 199.43 crore), healthcare business Rs 55.80 crore (Rs 47.38 crore), safety, security and protection services Rs 51.45 crore (Rs 50.16 crore), consumer and office business Rs 38.17 crore (Rs 32.69 crore) and display and graphics Rs 60.83 crore (Rs 65.41 crore). For the whole year (FY2012-13), profits were 19.31 per cent lower at Rs 52.26 crore (Rs 64.77 crore), while were up 12.02 per cent to Rs 1,574.13 crore (Rs 1,405.10 crore).
