Aditya Birla Nuvo net up 56%

Aditya Birla Nuvo Limited reported a 56 per cent increase in net profit to ₹452 crore (₹290 crore) in the September quarter on the back of better contribution from financial services and textile business. Net sales were up two per cent at ₹6,494 crore (₹6,424 crore). The company’s total expenses were down three per cent at ₹5,570 crore (₹5,750 crore). It registered other income of ₹107 crore (₹73 crore). ABNL plans to invest about ₹400 crore of which ₹101 crore has been done in the first half of the year.
