Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd, manufacturer of linen fabric, is planning to set up 16 more exclusive ‘Linen Club' outlets this financial year.
Speaking to reporters after inaugurating the ninth outlet of “Linen Club” in Karnataka at Hubli, Mr Abhey Nair, Senior Vice-President, Aditya Birla Nuvo, said that the company had at present 45 outlets and had plans to set up 65 outlets in the next four years.
Mr Nair said the outlets spread across the country offered a range of linen fabrics and ready to wear garments.
“Linen Club offers pure linen to exotic linen blends, printed and embroidered linen fabrics,” he said.
Market share
The company is the largest manufacturer of linen fabric with 70 per cent of the market share.
“We are expanding our area of operations in a phased manner. Due to higher production cost, western countries were shifting away from producing linen fabric and India is emerging as a hub,” he said.
To suit the customer taste, the company has appointed renowned Italian designers Mario Talli Nencioni and Raffaela Palmieri to bring out inspiring creative designs.
The General Manager of the company Mr Rabindra Mohan and Mr Dheeraj Runwal and others were present.
