Mr Anant Goenka has been elevated to the post of Managing Director of CEAT, the company announced on Monday. Mr Goenka is currently Deputy Managing Director at the company and will step into his role as MD with effect from April 1, 2012.
Mr Paras K. Chowdhry, the incumbent Managing Director, will continue as a whole-time Director with the company after retirement from his post.
Mr Goenka had earlier served as Head of the Speciality Tyre Business at CEAT. He has also worked with Hindustan Lever, Accenture, Morgan Stanley and KEC International.
CEAT is one of the leading tyre manufacturers in the country and is part of the RPG group of companies.
