Logistics player Arshiya International has posted a 11 per cent rise in September quarter net profit at Rs 35.43 crore. The company had posted a consolidated post-tax profit of Rs 31.85 crore.
The pre-tax profit went up 67 per cent to Rs 108.18 crore, it said in a statement issued here.
During the September quarter of this fiscal, its consolidated revenue went up to Rs 372.57 crore from Rs 247.96 crore in the year-ago period.
The company’s chairman and managing director Ajay S Mittal said the free trade warehousing zones at Khurja and Mumbai, coupled with the launch of a rail terminal at the former, have helped the company.
The decision to allow foreign direct investment in multi-brand retail will also help an integrated player in the space like Arshiya, he added.
The company’s share ended at Rs 123.65, up 1.52 per cent during the special Diwali mahurat trading on the BSE.
