BEML’s order book position is to the tune of ₹6,052.91 crore at the beginning of this financial year (2014-15).
The public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Defence has recorded sales growth (inclusive of excise duty) of 4 per cent at ₹3,120.17 crore for the financial year 2013-14 as against ₹2,998.87 crore in the year 2012-13.
The mining and construction business of the company registered a growth of 4.5 per cent over 2012-13 in spite of around 15 per cent de-growth in the domestic and global markets. Rail and metro registered a growth of 25 per cent over the previous year.
