BHEL Ltd said it has bagged an order for manufacturing 250 megawatt machines for the Pakaldul Hydro Power Project of Chenab Valley Power Corp in Jammu and Kashmir.
BHEL is the engineering, procurement and construction contractor for the project. “The order has been received for ₹1,000 crore, out of which ₹700 crore is to be delivered by BHEL, Bhopal,” an official statement said.
The project will be completed within five years, the company said. BHEL will be supplying four 250 MW Francis Turbine Generators.
