On expansion of kitchen chimney sales, he said that the company will launch its product offerings in Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu in the July to September quarter this year.

Chimney sales contribute 70 per cent of the company's annual turnover of Rs 85 crore. Modular kitchen business accounts for 20 per cent or Rs 17 crore of the turnover; the remaining 10 per cent is from other appliances that include gas ovens.

“We had tried to enter the South India market earlier but could not do so for want of distributors,” Mr Bajoria said adding that the modular kitchen offerings will be launched in South India later.

The company, which operates mainly through distributors' network, has over 1,500 retail outlets and is looking to have over 200 standalone stores by the end of this fiscal. It is also looking to have separate shop-in-shops.
