Auto parts’ maker Bosch employees are on a tool-down strike at the company’s plant here following disciplinary action initiated against one of the workers.
The company, in a release, said the employee union of Bosch Ltd – MEA (MICO Employee’s Association) – suspended work without the mandatory notice period as per labour laws. The company officials are in talks with the union representatives to resolve the impasse, Bosch said in a statement.
“It was observed that some associates deployed in a new production line were unwilling to meet basic production requirements in accordance with the standards of industrial engineering,” the statement said.
