The CBI today filed two separate charge sheets against suspended Nalco CMD, Mr A.K. Srivastava, and three others, arrested in a bribery case, for criminal conspiracy, forgery and other offences.
In the charge-sheet filed before Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Mr Vinod Yadav, the CBI charged Mr Srivastava, his wife Ms Chandani Srivastava, alleged conduit Mr B.L. Bajaj and his wife Ms Anita Srivastava under penal provisions of the IPC dealing with criminal conspiracy, forgery, using forged documents as genuine and impersonation.
The agency also filed a charge-sheet before special CBI Judge Mr Sanjeev Jain at Patiala House Court for offences under the Prevention of Corruption Act against the accused.
The CMM has now fixed the matter for April 23 while Special Judge Mr Sanjeev Jain will take up the case on April 25.
