In order to provide a platform to innovators in the clinical field of tuberculosis and cardiovascular diseases and cancer, the city-based Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited will conduct discussion forums in 50 cities across India.
“We aim to provide a platform to the innovations and excellence in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector in the country. The IAMICON 2014 will focus on advances in the treatment of tuberculosis and cardiovascular diseases,” said Rajiv Modi, CMD, Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
According to Modi, the conclave is aimed at evolving a new drugs or processes through which cost of medicines can be reduced and make it affordable to poor patients suffering from the said diseases.
The conclave will be held in two parts of three days each during November 14 to 16 and 21 to 23. Over 20,000 doctors, researchers, technical experts, medical students, practitioners are likely to attend the conclave, where 300 speakers from India an abroad will share knowledge on innovations in the medical areas.
