Fertiliser maker Coromandel International, part of the Rs 13,600-crore Murugappa Group, has clocked a standalone net profit of Rs 150.29 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010, up marginally from Rs 146.12 crore in the year-ago period.
During the quarter its sales touched Rs 2,047.07 crore, as against Rs 1,756.81 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal.
Sales turnover for the nine-month period this fiscal was Rs 6,353.20 crore (Rs 5,029.96 crore). The board of directors approved payment of an interim dividend of Rs 4 a share.
The group has 29 companies, including Cholamandalam DBS Finance, EID Parry and Tube Investments of India.
