Crompton Greaves said it has received a $25 million (about ₹150 crore) contract for design, construction and delivery of 16 mobile substations from the General Directorate for Transmission, Ministry of Electricity in Iraq. The mobile substations will have 31.5 mega volt ampere transformers. Typically, its applications range from power supply during emergency or planned outages, to moving loads and integration of distributed or renewable generation, the company said.
