Crompton Greaves has posted a net profit of ₹62 crore for the December quarter against a net loss of ₹189 crore logged in the same period last year.
Consolidated net sales rose 13 per cent to ₹3,352 crore (₹2,972 crore). The board has declared an interim dividend of 20 per cent or 40 paise a share. During the quarter, there was a 16 per cent rise in order intake at ₹2,624 crore.
On Thursday, the company scrip closed 7.91 per cent higher at ₹110.45 on the BSE.
