Datamatics Global Services has reported a 38 per cent drop in its consolidated net profit at Rs 4.72 crore in the fourth quarter of FY12. It had reported a net profit of Rs 7.69 crore in the corresponding period last year.
However for the full year ending March 31, 2012, the IT provider reported an increase in net profit at Rs 26.7 crore against Rs 20.7 crore in the year-ago period. The total income grew 60 per cent at Rs 441.8 crore against Rs 275.3 crore at the end of March 31, 2011.
During the year ended March 31, 2012, the company had acquired major control in Cignex Global Holding Corp (BVI) and Vista Info Systems Pvt Ltd (India), through its wholly owned subsidiaries.
