The All Kerala Federation of Petroleum Traders has said that its 1,800 dealers of three oil companies will boycott purchasing petroleum products on June 3, demanding implementation of their charter of demands.
Mr M. Radhakrishnan, Secretary of the Federation, said the petroleum companies have not made any changes in the dealers' commission, even though there was frequent hike in the prices of petroleum products.
The report submitted by the Committee appointed by the Ministry, has not been implemented by the oil companies or the Ministry, he said. Demanding the implementation of the ‘justified demands' of the dealers, it was decided to boycott buying petroleum products from Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPC) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation ltd (HPC) on June 3.
