Italian super sports motorcycles maker Ducati has launched its latest and the most affordable bike the Monster 795 in India. The bike, specially developed for emerging markets in Asia, is being priced at Rs 6.99 lakh, ex-showroom.
The new M795, as it is called, was unveiled at the Auto Expo here on Friday by Mr Mirko Bordiga, CEO, Ducati Asia Pacific, and Mr Ashish Chordia, CEO, Ducati India.
The M795 is now the most affordable Ducati model in the Monster range. The bike is already on sale in other Asian markets like Thailand. The Ducatis available in India now range from the M795 to the Diavel priced at Rs 25 lakh. The model families available in India include the Hypermotard, the Multistrada, the Diavel and the Super Bike series.
Founded in 1926, Ducati has been producing sports-inspired bikes for the last 55 years. These Italian bikes are sold in over 80 countries around the world. Ducati competes in both the World Superbike Championship and with an official team in the World MotoGP Championship too.
