Entertainment major Priya Entertainment Pvt Ltd (PEPL) will open its flagship multiplex Bioscope at Durgapur on April 13. With the opening of this multiplex at Junction Mall, Durgapur, PEPL will enter the State's industrial belt.
So far, the company opened multiplexes in the districts of Burdwan, Birbhum, Hooghly and North Dinajpur through public private partnership route.
“PEPL will start offering quality entertainment at affordable prices at Bioscope and it will open up a completely new market for the company in the industrial area of Durgapur,” Mr Arijit Dutta, MD, PEPL, said.
To tap the potential markets in tier-II and tier-III cities, Bioscope will cater movies in vernacular and other national languages in the region.
