MakeMyTrip announces senior-level appointments
MakeMyTrip Ltd has promoted Rajesh Magow to the position of Chief Executive Officer-India. Company founder Deep Kalra, will remain Chairman & Group CEO and will continue to lead the Group’s strategic developments and overall execution excellence. In a statement, Kalra said, “This development enables me to devote more of my efforts on Strategy, M&A and international businesses.”
Magow is a co-Founder of MakeMyTrip and has held the role of Chief Financial Officer since 2005 and assumed the role of COO more recently. The company also said that Mohit Kabra, Senior Vice-President of Finance, Administration and Legal, has been promoted to the role of Chief Financial Officer.
Srikant Sastri has joined Singapore-headquartered Crayon Data as the co-founder. Crayon was founded by Suresh V. Shanker and was angel funded by a group of investors including Srikant Sastri. Prior to this, Sastri was the chairperson of VivaKi India.
IDFC Securities expands equity team
IDFC Securities announced two appointments to expand its institutional equity team. Anish Damania has been appointed as Head – Institutional Equities, while Ashish Kalra will join IDFC Securities as MD - Sales - Institutional Equities.
The company said the appointments are in line with IDFC Securities’ strategy to deepen its capabilities and position the institutional business for continued growth.
