Jaya Hind Montupet’s new facility at Dewas in Madhya Pradesh is set to go into production in June 2015. The plant will make aluminium cylinder heads for the automobile industry. JHM, a 50:50 joint venture between Pune-based Jaya Hind Industries (a Firodia Group Company) and Montupet SA of France, is investing ₹200 crore in the first phase of the project.
Production will kick off at Dewas with components for Dragon engines – the programme for small petrol engines being developed by Ford. India is the lead country for the Dragon programme.
