Godrej Interio hopes to garner a 25 per cent share of the Rs 50,000-crore organised furniture market in the next three years, according to Subhodh Mehta, the company’s Vice-President.
At present, only 15 per cent of the nation’s furniture market is organised, he said in a press release. Godrej Interio has launched a new store in Chennai, and sees the South as a key focus market. The region contributed 25 per cent to the company’s market share, despite huge competition in the organised furniture market.
