Advertising's premier event Goafest will be live streamed by Google giving those who can't make it to the fun-filled shores of Goa in April a chance to catch the action online. The 7th edition of the annual festival will be held in Goa on April 20-21, but before that on April 19, there will be an advertising conclave, with speakers such as Mr Jonathan Mildenhall, Global Advertising Strategy and Content Excellence Vice President, The Coca-Cola Company, Mr Jean Yves Naouri, Chief Operating Officer & Member of Management Board, Publicis Groupe SA, Mr Tim Love, Vice Chairman of Omnicom Group, Mr Steve King, CEO, ZenithOptimedia and Mr Jayant Murty, Director of Strategy, Media & Integrated Marketing, Asia Pacific, Intel Corporation.

Mr. Arvind Sharma, Chairman, Goafest 2012, said, “The speakers addressing the Conclave have the width of vision and experience to make us think about ‘Ideas for impacting the full circle'- the theme of the Conclave.” Also new this year, said Mr Sharma, is that instead of the usual three Grand Prix, there will be awards in nine verticals handed out – recognising great work in Out of Home & Ambient, Design, Digital & Mobile Advertising, Direct, and Integrated Advertising, in addition to TV, Print and Radio. A Grand Prix is being introduced in media category as well. Also, this edition of the event will see South Asian countries participating, making it bigger and better, said Mr Sharma. Last edition saw 3,000 delegates converge on to Goa.
