Grasim Industries, an Aditya Birla Group company, has reported a rise in viscose staple fibre sales despite the 40 per cent fall in its third quarter profit.
The company said sales volumes at its viscose staple fibre business grew 24 per cent to 97,049 tonnes, for the three months to December 31, led by a better performance in both domestic and export markets.“Revenue at ₹7,120 crore grew by 5 per cent over the corresponding quarter last year,'' said an official.
