Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizer Company Ltd (GNFC) on Friday reported a six per cent increase in profit after tax (PAT) and 36 per cent in net sales in 2011-12, ended March 31, 2012, compared to the corresponding period in previous financial year. While the company's net sales were Rs 3862.01 crore (Rs 2845.89 crore), PAT stood at Rs 283.84 crore (Rs 266.53 crore), Mr A.M. Tiwari, Managing Director, said in a statement here. GNFC has declared a 35 per cent dividend, Rs 3.50 on a price of Rs 10 a share. On Friday, GNFC's share price closed 1.38 per cent up at Rs 80.80 in the BSE. The company's projects, being set up at an investment of nearly Rs 4,000 crore, are at various stages of implementation.
