Gulf Oil Corporation, a Hinduja Group venture, and L&T Komatsu have signed up to market co-branded range of lubricants.
The agreement was signed by Mr Ravi Chawla, President and CEO of Lubricants Division of Gulf Oil, and Mr H.N. Nagaraja, Senior DGM, L&T-Komatsu Ltd.
L&T-Komatsu Ltd is a joint venture of L&T and Komatsu Ltd, the latter a major manufacturer of hydraulic excavators.
Mr Ravi Chawla in a statement today said, “This strengthens our presence in the construction sector which is a key segment for our growth in the coming years”.
The co-branded oils have been formulated for L&T-Komatsu equipment and meet their stringent engineering specifications.
The portfolio includes engine oils, transmission oils and hydraulic oils. The shares of Gulf Oil closed at Rs 78 on the BSE.
