H&R Johnson (India) has signed up Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif as its brand ambassador as the company embarks on a new phase of growth.

The actress will endorse the tile, bathroom products, engineered marble and quartz and modular kitchen businesses of the company.

It has taken on board a celebrity ambassador for the first time since its incorporation in 1958. This coincides with the company’s move to refresh its brand identity across various businesses.

The company is a leading player in tiles, sanitaryware, bathroom fittings and kitchen items.

Sushil Matey, Chief Operating Officer, H&R Johnson (India), said, “The Johnson brand continues to be the most trusted name in the Home Lifestyle category and represents values of trust-worthiness, innovation and contemporariness. Johnson's association with Katrina reinforces the very values Katrina stands for her global image, freshness and contemporariness.”

The company signed up Ogilvy India’s sister agency Soho Square as its creative partners. Besides traditional mediums, the company plans to invest in digital marketing as part of its communication spends. The company has roped in Hungama Digital as its digital marketing partner.

H&R Johnson (India)’s Johnson Brand Refresh is an intrinsic process to bring all brand assets and product lines under the Johnson brand umbrella.

H&R Johnson’s brand refresh aims to engage its corporate and project clients as well as the marketplace as a single, unified brand throughout the country.

According to the company, this will ensure seamless services to clients as well as to its network of over 1200 dealers, 15000 sub-dealers, 33 modern retail stores and 100 shop-in-shops.
