IRB Infra bags Rs 3,200 cr Yedeshi-Aurangabad project from NHAI

IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd has emerged a preferred bidder and received Letter of Award from the National Highways Authority of India for four-laning of Yedeshi-Aurangabad section of NH-21.

The estimated project cost of the company is about Rs 3,200 crore with construction period of 910 days, the company said in a release. The concession period for the same is 26 years.

The four-laning would be from 100 to km 290.200 (design length 190 km) in Maharashtra.

IRB already has in its portfolio four-laning of Solapur to Yedeshi section of NH-211 from km 0.000 to km 100.000. Hence, with this project, IRB will now develop entire road length of 288 km from Aurangabad to Solapur.

Construction order book of the Company was Rs 5,800 crore as on December 2013 which will be now increased to Rs 8,600 crore, to be executed in the next three to four years.
