ITC launches cigars in Kolkata

After its successful launch in Delhi and Mumbai, Armenteros, the handrolled cigars of ITC Ltd, hit the Kolkata market on Wednesday, according to a company release. The price will range between Rs 450 (“Petit Coronoa”) to Rs 900 (“Churchill”) for a stick. Armenteros cigars are sourced from the Dominican Republic, the largest producer of handrolled cigars in the world. The cigars are manufactured at La Aurora, one of the oldest cigar companies in the world and run by the Leon Jimenes family. The products and packaging are custom-made to ITC specifications and stringent quality parameters, the release added.
